Ordering Process
When placing an order with Pedoodles, we collect a variety of information to assist in order completion.  The standard information required includes your name, billing/shipping addresses, phone numbers, e-mail address, and billing/credit card information.  Contact information and addresses are stored for easy access on future orders if you choose to create an account during checkout.  Credit cards numbers are never retained after authorization.  They must be entered for each order.  When you purchase a gift, the information collected is only used to ship the gift on your behalf.  We make use of 3rd parties to deliver our products and process credit card orders.  The companies we make use of have policies not to retain, share, store or use any of your personal information for any purpose beyond what we have hired them for.

E-mail Addresses
We use e‑mail addresses to communicate with customers during order fulfillment and to respond to questions asked by customers.  Customers who have opted-in to our sales/marketing notices during checkout will also be contacted via e‑mail when sales, specials and new products are announced.  E‑mail addresses are not used for any other purpose, and are never shared or sold to 3rd parties.  Unsolicited e‑mail hurts the Internet and all of us that make use of it.

Secure SSL Certificates
Pedoodles makes use of Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption and authentication by GoDaddy/Starfield to provide a secure environment for online purchasing.  This technology encrypts the information transferred between your computer and our servers during the checkout process.  It is important that you make use of a modern browser when shopping online.  Outdated browsers such as the Netscape 4.72 (and earlier) have bugs that can severely affect their SSL capabilities.  We always recommend the use of up to date browser software when accessing the Internet, especially when shopping online.
